Generic, Brand and Indirect Marketing

Generic Marketing Example

This example of generic marketing is an advertisement for an upcoming ASP World Tour Event at Jefferey's Bay in South Africa. The ASP markets the event by showing highlight of past events at the location and proving the high level of surfing is worth watching. This is also subtle marketing for the major sponsor of the ASP, Samsung,  by putting the logo at the end of the video along with the ASP logo.

Brand Marketing Example

This video is an advertisement for Nike's golf equipment using their two top sponsored golfers as a tool to show their gear can help the consumers golf game improve. It shows Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy having a friendly game of hitting golf balls into various cups. It markets the equipment as being very accurate and user friendly and will allow the consumer to have fun with friends while golfing.

Indirect Marketing Example

This video is an indirect advertisement for Pepsi and Chevrolet because at the beginning of the video Jeff Gordon thanks Pepsi for providing the hidden camera in on of their cans of soft drink. It also markets the performance of a Cheverolet because the driving done by Jeff is not the kind of driving that an everyday person would be able to do but it shows that their cars are capable of high risk and high performance driving.
